The Contributorship is the oldest and first fire insurance company in Philadelphia. At 4:30, we will go to the Athenaeum of Philadelphia, 219 South 6th Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19106, http://www.philaathenaeum.org/current.html, 215-925-2688 to see a free exhibit on "The Art of the Fan: Beyond the Victorian Lady." The Athenaeum is a special collections architectural and interior design library specializing in the years 1800-1945. At 6:00, we will go to the Gershman YMHA, Broad & Pine Streets, Phila, PA 19147, http://www.gershmany.org/galleries.cfm, 215-545-4500, to see the photography of Laurence Saltzman (20 years of the Sephardic Turkish Community) and Micaela Amateau Amato (Los Chuetas, Jews of Majorka 15th Century to Today in glass, neon and ceramic).
