Saturday March 12 – Monday March 14 A WALK IN THE WOODS - HIKING THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL THRU SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK with New York Mosaic.
Come on out; shake off the winter blues and take a walk in the woods. Spend a day or two or three hiking the Appalachian Trail through beautiful Shenandoah National Park. Many scenic peaks and overlooks offering panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as a patchwork of woods, farmlands and orchards in the valleys below. Abundant wildlife. Hikes will average 8 to 10 miles a day. There are shorter hike options available. Great for folks in the Washington DC area who wish to only come out for the day.
