Thursday July 4 8:30 am 66th Annual July 4 Lebanon Parade/NJ Photography Exhibit/Round Valley SP We will meet at 8:30 at the entranceway of the police headquarters, Main Street, Lebanon, 908-437-1452, www.lebanonboro.com/4thofjulyparade. The theme this year is 150 Years-Gettysburg Commemoration. There will be in the parade, decorated: babies, bikes, antique cars, floats, emergency vehicles and veterans. The event is free. The title of the exhibit is "What exit?: The Beauty, Resilience and Uniqueness of NJ." The cost is free. At 1:00, we will go to the Cornelius Low Museum, 1225 River Road, Piscataway, NJ 08855, 732-745-4177 and look at the exhibit on the Work Program Administration/New Deal. The cost is free. At 4:00, we will go for a short, flat, easy to navigate hike at the D & R Canal, Johnson Park, 1050 River Road & Old Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ 08855. Island Beach
Saturday July 13 12 noon Trip to Island Beach State Park Come visit this beautiful beach on a barrier island off the New Jersey shore. We will meet at the Shop Rite supermarket near the intersection of routes 70 and 73 in South Jersey at 12 noon, then carpool to the park. After going to the beach we may go out to dinner. Celtic Festival

Historic Walking Tour
Sunday July 28 2 pm Historic Walking Tour Come enjoy a walking tour of the synagogues, homes, and businesses of Eastern european Jews who settled near South street in the 19th century. The cost is $10, and we will meet a little before 2 in front of the Society Hill synagogue at 418 Spruce St. in center city for the tour, which is open to the first 25 people who show up. National Event
Saturday August 29 – Monday September 2 National Event “Meander in New Hampshire” Each year over Labor day the national Mosaic organization holds a National Event, where they rent out a Summer camp, people stay in cabins, and a variety of events are held. This year’s event is at Camp Yavneh in southern New Hampshire, and activities include hiking, kayaking, trips to local towns, museums, and many more things. There is also a pre-trip to Mount Washington and a post-trip to Boston. Mosaic members and non-members are welcome. For more information go to http://2013event.mosaicoutdoor.org/
