Saturday June 22  7:45 am  Day Trip to the Washington Mall  featuring the Smithsonian museums and other attractions near by.  We will meet at 7:45 am at the Great Northeast Plaza at Cottman and Bustleton in the Northeast to take the Starr Tours bus to the Washington Mall and get back at 8:30 pm.  In order to go on this trip you must buy a ticket through Starr Tours, go to www.starrtours.com, click on browse tours and search for "Smithsonian", or call 1-800-782-7703.  If you do go on this trip, or for any other questions, please RSVP to Jon at 856-787-0325.

Saturday June 29  12 noon  Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts  We will meet at 12 noon in front of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts at Broad and Cherry Streets to view the exhibition "From the Schuylkill to the Hudson: Landscapes of the Early American Republic". (The museum is free that day.) Afterwards we will go out to dinner and view the fireworks at Penn's Landing, weather permitting. Non-members are welcome. Sunday July 7  1 pm  Philadephia Art Museum  We will meet in front of the Perelman Building of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 2525 Pennsylvania Avenue at 1 pm to view the exhibition "Souls Grown Deep" of Southern African-American art and quilts from Gee's Bend. Afterwards we will go to the main art museum and then out to dinner at an Indian restaurant. Sunday July 14  10:30 am  Lake Atsion  Come enjoy a swim at this lake in the Pine Barrens.  We will meet at 10:30 am in front of the Shoprite near the intersection of routes 70 and 73 in Marlton, NJ, then carpool to the lake.  Afterwards we will go out to dinner, and for more information contact Jon at 856-787-0325.

Sunday July 28  12 noon  Island Beach State Park  Come enjoy a day at the beach on this barrier island off the New Jersey shore.  We will meet at 12 noon in front of the Shoprite near the intersection of routes 70 and 73 in Marlton New Jersey, then carpool to the beach.  Afterwards we will go out to dinner.  In the event of inclement weather this event will be held on Sunday, July 21 at the same time, and for more information contact Jon at 856-787-0325.
