Shenandoah Hiking Weekend

Friday March 17 - Monday March 20 Hiking the Appalachian Trail In Shenandoah National Park Hike the Appalachian Trail through beautiful Shenandoah National Park. Many scenic peaks and overlooks offering panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as a patchwork of woods, farmlands and orchards in the valleys below. Hikes will average 11 miles per day at a moderate, steady pace with significant elevation gains and drops. Drive down on Friday for short 3 mile hike. Leader will arrange carpooling. Friday night at the Courtyard by Marriott, Manassas, VA $129 per night + tax. Breakfast included. Saturday night at the Massanutten Resort $105 + tax. Breakfast not included. Participants responsible for making their own reservation. People willing to share room can split room cost in half. Register early! Group size limited to 10. MUST REGISTER WITH LEADER.
