Entries for February 2022

Saturday February 26  10 am  New Jersey State Museum  featuring exhibits in science, history, and art.  We will meet at 10 am in front of the Target at Bustleton and Bleigh in the Northeast, then carpool to the museum, which is in Trenton.  Museum admission is free, although donations are accepted.  We will have lunch out, and for more information contact Janet at 267-205-6651.  This event was orginally scheduled for Sunday February 27 and was rescheduled.

Wednesday March 2  6:45 pm  Club Meeting  at the Uzbeckistan restaurant at 12012 Bustleton Ave. in the Northeast.  At the meeting we will discuss club business and plan events for March and April.  People new to the club are welcome, and for more information contact Jon at 856-905-2732.

Sunday March 13  11 am  Sistene Chapel Exhibit  Come see a life sized photographic reproduction of the Sisten Chapel at the Fashion District Mall at 901 Market Street in center city.  (Part of what used to be called the Gallery at Market East).  We will meet at the exhibit at 11 am.  The cost is $19.20 for adults.  Afterwards we will go out for lunch in Chinatown, and for more information contact Gale at 215-331-8194.

Sunday April 3  11:30 am  National Liberty Museum  featuring a variety of exhibits, including one on David Bowie.  We will meet at 11:30 am in front of the museum at 321 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.  Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors over 65, and it is recommended that you buy them online up to 2 weeks in advance at libertymuseum.org.  Afterwards we wil go out for lunch, and for more information contact Janet at 267-205-6651.

Saturday April 30  2 pm  Play "The Cherry Orchard"  at the Wilma theater at 265 South Broad Street in Philadelphia.  The tickets are between $29 - $49, and must be purchased at wilmatheater.org.  Afterwards we will go out for dinner, and for more information contact Gale at 215-331-8194.  This event was originally scheduled for April 17 and has been rescheduled.
