Wheaton Village, Art and Glassworks Museum and Parvin State Park
Sunday August 12 9:30 am Wheaton Village, Art and Glassworks Museum and Parvin State Park We will meet at the entranceway at 9:30 of Wheaton Village, 1501 Glasstown Road, Millville, NJ 0832-1566, http://www.wheatonarts.org/. The cost is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors 62+, $7 for students and free for children 5 and under. There is a $1 off coupon on the website. I was here many years ago and it is gorgeous and amazing! This is a must go place if you have never been! Belleplain State Park and Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area
Saturday August 18 10 am Belleplain State Park and Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area (AKA Lester G. MacNamara Wildlife Management Area) We will meet at 10:00 at the entranceway of Belleplain State Park, 1 Henkinsifkin Road, Woodbine, NJ 08270, 609-861-2404, http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/belle.html. The parking fee is $10 for NJ residents and $20 for out of state residents (we could meet down the road at the Sam Alzeez Museum and carpool into the park. If you have not taken that tour, it is about 45 minutes and worthwhile). At 5:00, we will go to the Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area (AKA Lester G. MacNamara Wildlife Management Area), CR-631 and Tuckahoe Road, Tuckahoe, NJ,08250, 609-628-2103, http://www.njaudubon.org/SectionIBBA/IBBASiteGuide.aspx?sk=3031. There is hiking and a drive through bird preserve. We were at the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Management Area, which had a similar setup and enjoyed it very much. Dead Sea Scrolls
Sunday September 23 11:40 am Dead Sea Scrolls at the Franklin Institute. The exhibit features the 2000 year old scrolls and other artifacts. We will meet at 11:40 am at the top of the steps at the main entrance of the Franklin Institute, then go on the timed tour at 12 noon. Tickets cost $31.50, and include general admission to the museum and the planetarium as well as the scrolls. If you go to the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia's web site, www.jewishphilly.org, you can get a code that will get you a discount on the tickets. We recommend you buy the 12 noon timed tickets as soon as possible. Afterwards we may go out to dinner. For more information contact Gale at 215-331-8194.

Ricketts Glenn
Saturday September 29 7:15 am Ricketts Glenn Come see amazing waterfalls in this beautiful state park. You need to pack lunch and wear boots for this trip, and we will meet at 7:15 am the Dunkin Donuts at Bustleton and Shelmire streets in the Northeast, which is next to the Target, then carpool to the park.
