Saturday January 27  12 noon  Penn Museum  featuring a variety of events celebrating the Chinese New Year.  We will meet at 12 noon at the main entrance at 3260 South Street.  Tickets may be purchased on line in advance at www.penn.museum or in person, and cost $18 for adults and $16 for seniors.  Afterwards we will go out to dinner and for more information contact Janet at 267-205-6651.  Please leave a message and she will call you back.

Sunday February 18  12 noon  Academy of Natural Sciences  featuring the exhibit "Life onto Land: The Devonian".  We will meet at 12 noon in front of the museum at 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway.  Tickets are $27 for adults, $25 online, and $24 for seniors, $22 online.  Online tickets can be purchased at ansp.org.  In the case of inclement weather this event will be held on February 25.  Afterwards we will go out to dinner, and for more information contact Gale at 215-331-8194.

Sunday March 3  12 noon  Philadelphia Flower Show  This year's theme is "United By Flowers".  In addition to floral displays there is a butterfly room and plant related talks.  We will meet at 12 noon at the Chinese soup bowls sculpture under the escalator as you face the Philadelphia Convention Center at 12^th and Arch.  Tickets are $49.99 for adults and can be purchased at phsonline.org.  In the event of inclement weather this event will be held on March 9.  Afterwards we will go out to dinner in Chinatown, and for more information contact Gale at 215-331-8194.

Wednesday March 13  6:45 pm  Club Meeting  at Gallo's Seafood restaurant at 8101 Roosevelt Blvd. in the Northeast.  At the meeting we will discuss club business and plan events for March and April.  People new to the club are welcome, and for more information contact Jon at 856-905-2732.  This event was originally scheduled for March 6 and was rescheduled.
